Versatile.

Configured with tilting motors allows the drones to hover on the spot. Being able to hover allows the drone to conduct measurements in tight areas, along a path, or by another vessel.

Long endurance.

In forward flight mode the plane has an endurance unlike any hovering drone. It draws 10% of the power required to hover as the lifting surfaces of the wings give it an efficiency unmatched by conventional quadcopters.

Rugged.

Built with water in mind the Kungsfiskare drones can survive some pretty harsh environments. Most crashes with the water are survivable and all but the worst of crashes leave the plane in a repairable condition. This is plane is built for the elements.

Single axis bi-copter.

Simpler.

Like the other drones we develop, this one has tilting motors. The difference here is there is only one actuator moving both motors resulting in a mechanical simplicity unmatched by our other VTOL drones.

Convenient.

With a wingspan of less than a meter this very simple platform yields another great propert - convenience of transport and storage. Based on a heavily modified Zohd Dart XL the frame is modular and light.

Rugged, of course.

All of the drones developed in the Lab have water in mind. The platform is capable of taking off from water and flying in the rain.
